In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design.

You will play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty.

Qualifications Basic

  • Bachelor’s degree in any career stream
  • At least 4 years of experience with Information Technologies
  • Preferred

  • At least 4 years of experience in software development life cycle.
  • Hands on Experience on any Backup solutions such as Avamar; Data domain; Veeam;
  • Hands on Experience on all aspects of backup on Avamar; Nettapp Data domain and Veeam including administration activity covering setup of monitoring and alerts etc
  • Hands on Experience in Backup Administration activities including Backup configuration, Backup scheduling configuration, Host configuration across windows / Linux systems
  • Backup capacity planning and Lifecycle management
  • Awareness on Backup recovery and configuring for meeting the RPO and RTO requirements as defined.
  • Awareness on Backup solution such as Networker, NetBackup, VEEAM
  • Awareness on ITIL Process and working knowledge on ITSM processes such as Incident Management and Change Management process and Service now.
  • Exposure Power BI will be an added advantage.
  • Exposure to other Disc and tape based backup platform will be an advantage.
  • Responsible for availability of 24*7*365 Backup environment as per SLA and OLA guidelines
  • Hands on experience on Avamar, Data domain, Veem to do backup and restores will be desired
  • Responsible for Ticket handling, Backup lifecycle and overall operations tasks
  • Perform daily Backup provisioning configuration changes.
  • Responsible for Sox audit and compliance
  • Manage and Perform various types of Backup activity l
  • Perform zoning configuration changes and allocate Backup to specific servers / applications
  • Perform capacity planning, performance analysis and other needs assessments as requested by partner teams
  • Participate and / or lead in the planning, approval, and implementation of Change Management requests.
  • Troubleshoot / diagnose and resolve complex problems
  • Assist with detailed technical planning for future initiatives and / or growth.
  • Design, document and build infrastructure components related to Backup solution requirements from application, systems and database teams.
  • Perform on-going optimization of the systems to ensure adequate capacity, availability and scalability.
