Real Estate Finance Officer

Job Description :

This is an analytical, administrative, management and negotiation-intensive position. It’s a very

important job that requires someone that is incredibly organized, detailed-oriented and happy to work

independently for extended periods of time.

Controller :

o Manage company’s various bank accounts in CR and US

o Monitor and track vendor performance contracts

o Approve and recommend payments to all vendors

o Liason with firm’s accountants / bookkeepers to ensure that all books are properly

organized.

o Reconcile all credit card statements.

Office manager for the firm’s small, but growing, Nosara office

Manage staff payroll

Monitor company’s assets and equipment (vehicles, machinery, equipment, etc)

Be in charge of organizing and maintain all digital and physical files for the office.

Manage technology needs of CEO and overall office

Manage two real estate properties the firm owns in New York.

Provide admin support to the CEO and other team members

Set up and manage local accounts and companies, bank and legal compliance

Online research

Contributions to company projects as time and skill set permits.

Managing Airbnb of CEO’s personal residence

Personal assistant work for CEO

o Travel planning (business and personal for his family)

o Researching and purchasing various personal and professional items.

o Some management of calendar and appointments.

o Managing personal vehicles

o Personal bill payment and credit card reconciliation

Position Requirements :

Super-organized and detail oriented

Very strong analytical skills

A strong negotiator and able to ensure company gets good terms on its various business

agreements.

Ability to think and act strategically in a business setting to add value rather than just

executing tasks as told.

Hi level of emotional intelligence and self-awareness

Ability to work independently while also feeling part of a special team.

Reliable and driven but able to contribute to a fun and relaxed work environment.

Tech savvy

Self-motivated, dependable and thorough

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

A passion for doing work with a positive social mission desire and satisfaction in working for an

impactful organization.

Job is generally 8 : 00-5 : 00 with occasional afterhours or weekend work. We offer a top salary, based on

assistant or accountant.
