About the role

Your Opportunity This clerk will support the Finance Organization and Operations team, being responsible for the Cash Accounting processes for a group of legal entities, overseeing the bank reconciliation process.

  • Acting as a controller for every single transaction executed in Bacardi bank accounts by ensuring that all of them are properly performed and reconciled;
  • this enables that the reported cash balances at month end are current and accurate. About You Bacardi Enterprise Service is looking for high performing individuals who are success driven and interested in a career at Bacardi.

    The accounting clerk position is a highly competitive role structured to strengthen accounting and finance competencies.

    You will gain experience managing Cash Accounting processes. This role provides support and training needed to develop a well-rounded accounting and finance skillset, which will be the foundation for advancing your career Bacardi.

    Responsibilities

    With our Consumer at the heart, your key focus will be to :

  • Processing tasks related to SysAid tickets assigned to the position.
  • Monthly SAP download of account balances needed for monthly reconciliations.
  • Coordinate with the different dependencies to resolve un-reconciled items.
  • Perform monthly Cash accounts reconciliations.
  • Perform daily clearing on the Bank sub-ledger accounts.
  • Resolve problems with missing, duplicate bank statements.
  • Bank Statement validations against SAP.
  • Record accruals, adjustment and any other entry related to the cash accounts
  • Skills and Experience

    The Skills & Experience needed to create your legacy

  • Previous experience in Accounting, using SAP platform.
  • Analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage his / her time efficiently.
  • Ability to push creative thinking beyond the boundaries of existing company practices and mindsets.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to capture information in a clear, concise manner and can adapt information for various audiences.
  • Works well in a team environment and is a self-starter that continuously is thinking on how things can be done better.
  • Knowledge of standard business practices and professionalism in a customer service environment
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (outlook / excel / word / PowerPoint / Teams)
  • The following experiences are preferred :

  • Experience in the Spirits and / or FMCG industry is a distinct advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of Bacardi Business Partner / Shared Services / Centre of Expertise.
  • Experience in Shared Services environment preferred.
  • Foreign language skills (English 70%) preferred.
  • Personal Qualities

  • University degree in Accounting / Business / Finance or related discipline.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Proactive individual that can collaborate and build effective relationships across all levels of the organization
