Amazon is looking for a customer-obsessed, driven, creative and tech savvy learning experience designer to perform design, analysis, development and maintenance of learning content aimed to equip Amazon employees with HR process and systems knowledge.
This includes elearning development, performance support and just-in-time content, instructor-led course materials, and knowledge management solutions.
The role requires an individual who can innovate, move quickly, and not be constrained by how things have been done before.
Specific responsibilities will include :
Support design, development and maintenance of business critical global learning programs.
Collaborate with the Employee Services Learning Solutions Teammates to report monthly on the status of programs including : delivered projects, success metrics, work in progress and new requests.
Create, update, and continuously improve learning programs materials (elearning, videos, just-in-time performance support development, ILT).
Stay current on new learning approaches, technology and tools through continuous research to ensure our solutions deliver innovation.
Contribute to the development and implementation of team templates, learning models and overall best practices.
Publishing materials and reporting utilizing Amazon’s Learning Management system.

Experience using learning management systems.
Proficiency with course authoring tools like Articulate 360 and video editing like Camtasia.
Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency on the application of learning principles and methodologies with a track record of practical application.
Successful record building and managing updates to learning experiences in the format of elearnings, job aids, instructor led materials and video.
Knowledge in planning, designing, developing, implementing and assessing learning materials in all modalities (elearning, job aids, ILT, videos, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work with multiple global stakeholders, SMEs, front-line managers and front-line employees in a variety of projects, within a collaborative environment.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (graphics / visual design, education, or instructional design).
Familiarity with Adobe Suite.
2+ years of experience in instructional design and developing learning content.
Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult concepts and processes using clear and simple language and visuals.
Able to prioritize in complex, fast-paced work environment.
Problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise integrity and sound judgment in complex and ambiguous situations.
Understanding of SCORM APIs and xAPIs for LMS interaction
A keen eye for design and the ability to earn trust of subject matter experts and stakeholders
Excellent organizational, collaboration and interpersonal skills
Strong self-directed project management skills, with a good ability to work independently
