We are a small, highly leveraged team that defines monetization strategy for the entire company. Our role is to influence the product roadmap to drive significant growth in revenues, profits, and stock price for Adobe.
We do this by driving initiatives that optimize new and existing offerings via product configuration, product line determination, offer structure, and pricing.
This particular role will focus on the design and development of pricing infrastructure improvements to enable our evolving business model strategies.
This may involve the following activities :
Develop prescriptive recommendations on technology solutions and applications to enable Adobe’s current and evolving business models and GTM strategies.
Lead multi-functional teams in the identification of business requirements, capability design, technology / vendor selection, and assessment of business launch readiness.
Lead evaluation of buy vs. build options for new pricing technology and drive internal alignment on the optimal solution.
Develop and present a business case that articulates the strategy, total cost of ownership (TCO) and return-on-investment, in order to acquire and incorporate cross-functional feedback and ultimately achieve executive approval.
Own the end-to-end initiative from design through development and deployment of the solution.
Lead organizational change for deployment of the technology solution.
We are looking for an analytical wiz with high initiative, a strategic approach and quantitative talent.
Experience developing sophisticated business cases for enterprise technology solutions.
Proven track record of driving the design and delivery of large-scale technology transformations, preferably involving cloud-based solutions.
Solid grasp of business process design for end-to-end price optimization and execution processes, including price analytics, price management, and pricing approval workflows.
Deep understanding of the interplay between pricing strategy, business models, channel management strategies, and technology platforms.
Industry experience in technology, software, SaaS-based or cloud-based businesses is a plus.
Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
MBA or comparable.
The ability to simplify the complex, quickly define core problem and frame the solution approach.
Attention to detail balanced by comfort with ambiguity.
Excellent deck-writing, communicating, and upward-influencing skills.
Strong EQ and leadership ability.
Experience driving consensus in a large matrixed organization is an advantage.
A background in strategy consulting, pricing and packaging strategy, and / or change-management are all big pluses.
