The Challenge

Do you love creativity and the challenge of taking industry leading products to the next level? We are looking for an experienced product marketer to join the Graphic Design Product Marketing team.

In this role, you will support the growth of Adobe Illustrator by working with cross-functional teams to assess new opportunities, develop a compelling story for the product, and drive go-to-market strategy.

The ideal candidate is passionate about design and creativity, a great story teller, smart marketer and can influence others in a matrixed environment.

What You’ll Do

Craft go-to-market strategies with clear objectives and success measures to drive membership value, awareness, and engagement of key features

Develop target customer personas leveraging insights from research product and market research teams to build a rich view for the entire organization to deliver the best customer experiences!

Create product positioning and messaging that makes an impact to drive familiarity, consideration and action by customers and prospects

Develop market and customer insights leading field research and championing insights and resulting strategy across the organization to influence product prioritization and roadmaps

Lead major company initiatives that deliver strong financial results and influence sales and marketing motions across the customer journey

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Product marketing experience . You have a distinctive track record of impact in marketing and strategy decisions based on your recommendations.
  • You can anticipate market needs and trends, how they manifest in product needs, and predict challenges that influence the product direction.

    Have built strong partnership with key teams including Product Management, Research, Business Strategy, Finance and Campaign Marketing.

  • Customer empathy. You are customer first and go deep to understand our global audiences. You bring that compassion and insight with you to every strategy and initiative to make sure we’re doing right for our customers and business.
  • Excellent storyteller and communicator . The gift to tell a powerful and simple story to senior executives, technical leaders, and marketers across a range of complex issues with the quiet confidence of a wealth of evidence in your back pocket.
  • Innovative. Comfortable thinking in the abstract and about the future in new ways. You challenge the status quo, encouraging teams to solve problems and tackle new opportunities with fresh ideas.
  • Results oriented and data driven . Demonstrates outstanding analytical skills to identify, analyze, and use data to inform a recommendation.
  • Partners with market researchers, product managers, and sales leaders to seek out data to validate ideas and demonstrates the courage to challenge our plan based on new information.

  • People leadership . You’re a remarkably gifted marketer who makes the time to coach and mentor your peers and lift the performance of the team.
  • Ideal :

  • 7+ years of product and marketing experience in a consumer or commercial technology (internet, SaaS, hardware), consumer packaged goods, or professional services business
  • Product launch, go to market, and category management experience (B2C preferred)
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud
