Thishighly visible and critical position manages human resources programs andservices for Experian’s Costa Rica Global Service Center which is +1,100employees and growing.
Working withCosta Rica Management and HR Leadership across the globe, you will beresponsible for ensuring that the Experian’s Costa Rica operation has the highestperforming employees with highest levels of employee engagement.
Thisposition manages a staff of HR professionals with accountability and responsibilityfor :
Researching, recommending, and / oradministration of human resource programs including compensation, benefits, payroll,talent development, employee well-being, and employee relations.
Ensures Experian human capitalpractices are compliant with Costa Rica employment law and mitigates anyemployment litigation or non-compliance risk for Experian
Establishes Human Resourcespolicy, and ensures policyinterpretation, counseling and training for employees and managers on programs,policies and procedures.
Advises managers in the resolution ofemployee relations and employee performance issues.
Oversees the accuracy and protection ofemployee data in Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure dataintegrity necessary for reporting and analysis.
Builds and generates standard andad-hoc human resources reports. Analyzesand summarizes data and prepares recommendations to management on results andappropriate actions.
Remains aware of internal companyenvironment, competitive environment, and market trends and developments withinfunctional area.
Applies knowledge andprovides input to senior management to develop policies and procedures thataffect Costa Rica operations.
Develops and maintains a thoroughunderstanding of the operation’s financial metrics, business plan and clientexpectations to support the human resources needs of the business.
Collaborate with HR Partners across theglobe in designing and implementing HR programs to drive Experian’s strategicfocus areas.
University degree in a related field
Confident decision maker with gravitas and able to take a stand on tough issues
5+ years managing / leading a 1000+ employee multinational HR Services organization
Proven history of creating a work environment where employees and future employees consider Experian a great place to work
Several years managing a payroll function
Skilled at building deep, trusting partnerships with business leaders and HR leaders across a global organization
Has a strong need to use insights obtained from data analysis to make the best decisions
Speed and action-orientation define your approach as you navigate multiple high priority projects
Decisive and confident, you can see the big picture, define strategic direction and deep dive into execution to ensure successful delivery
Experience in navigating complex matrix environments to quickly understand the most efficient way to deliver great results, through and with others
Language Requirements : English & Spanish fluency
Strong knowledge of human resources practices within the marketplace and critical to have a deep understanding of Costa Rica employment law
Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
