The Adobe Sign Business Development Representative works closely with the Enterprise Account Executives to generate pipeline for our e-signature solution, Adobe Sign.
As a BDR, you are the first line of contact with prospects and must excel in establishing meaningful conversations with a variety of IT and C-level decision makers.
This will be accomplished through but not limited to cold calling, email campaigns, lead generation and follow-up, discovery calls and demos, and daily customer sales support activities.
The role involves working with existing accounts as well as generating new business. By partnering closely with your Account Executives, the goal is to identify and source pipeline that leads to closed revenue and quota attainment.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated self-starter who is resilient and innovative in building and executing personalized business development prospecting campaigns.
What you’ll do
Ability to understand complex business environments and uncover customer issues, process problems, and translate need into business opportunities.
Assist customers in understanding Adobe's e-signature solution, Adobe Sign, specifically around current manual document workflow processes.
Manage a high volume of accounts with a strategy to understand various lines of business and personas
Generate new business pipeline through outbound prospecting activities
Set meetings through cold calling inbound leads and net new prospects
Drive awareness into the account base through regular email campaigns and drive attendance to live and online webinars.
Demonstrate adaptability and flexibility as part of an ever-growing sales organization
Engage in regular targeted email and call campaigns from designated prospect lists provided by Field Sales Marketing and your managed account list.
Build pipeline of all opportunities through managed accounts, new leads, and campaigns. Update on a weekly basis.
Prepare activity and forecast reports as requested.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Adobe's competitive positioning in the marketplace.
What you need to succeed
1 2 years prior inside sales experience, preferably within software and / or services, with a proven track record of success.
Prior experience cold calling and generating new leads.
Understand the sales cycle and solution selling process into the e-signature space is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Motivated by individual and team achievement.
Highly organized with ability to work in fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of Adobe products preferred.
BS / BA degree required or 4+ years relevant sales experience
