3M is seeking a 3M MES Business Analyst / Scrum Master
Job Summary :
The person hired for the position of 3M MES Business Analyst will
Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :
Organize Sprint Planning meetings, which includes reviewing the Product Backlog and collaborating with the Deployment Team and the Core Team to identify user stories to be included in upcoming Sprints (3M MES requirements)
Conduct Sprint Review Meetings and Demos to review the scope and functionality delivered in previous Sprint.
Organize Sprint Retrospectives with the Scrum Team to improve process and techniques continuously.
Assist the Product Owner (The Deployment Team) in maintaining the Product Backlog.
Hold Daily SCRUM meetings to enable Team to synchronize work and communicate issues and road-blocks to the Product Owner.
Implement, monitor and report on instruments to enhance the Team’s velocity and ensure quality deliverables.
Create and maintain Scrum and Sprint boards to enhance visibility into the progress of the stories the Team has committed to during the Sprint.
Ensure the Team updates their task and subtasks timely so that Scrum artifacts yield accurate, dependable and current information.
Coach the Team so that they abide by the SCRUM rules and guidelines.
Instill a sense and deep understanding of commitment vs. involvement.
Empower the Scrum Team to make autonomous decisions and self-organize so that they can maximize their skills and knowledge.
Foster a collaborative environment in which all member become accountable for their tasks and dependable on one another.
Shield the Scrum Team from outside influences and distractions so that resources as time and skills are entirely focused in meeting commitments.
Facilitate communication across Teams overseas by setting up meetings, working sessions and knowledge transfer workshops.
Manage risks by identifying breached from planned deliverables and commitments.
Follow the Polaris process while ensuring key deliverables are completed.
Conduct or participate in user story mapping sessions to create shared understanding
Participate in Polaris Rapid Prototyping and other user interaction sessions
Work closely with management, subject matter experts and technical teams to define business requirements and translate them into user stories.
Assist in the prioritization of requirements and system functionality by collaborating with manufacturing clients and other internal teams.
Monitor development defects that are found in testing and / or production. Provide input to drive process improvements as necessary.
Provide process training as needed to technical resources.
Provide 3rd level application support for escalated trouble tickets.
Participate in and / or lead daily stand up meetings and other components of 3M MES Lean operational flow.
Develop and execute test scripts
Basic Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
Preferred Qualifications :
1 or more years of business analyst experience
Experience working in a manufacturing environment
Experience with Agile (lean) development methodology
Experience working in collaborative / distributed software development teams
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desire to learn, and openly share knowledge with team members and stakeholders
Scrum Master Certification
