As part of the Finance & Procurement ERP organization, the jobholder will act as global project support out of the SSC in Costa Rica.
The team member that is being recruited will support the transformational change for assigned processes and deployment in scope.
He / she will report directly to the Global Shared Services Project Coordinator.
This is a multi-year program which aims at defining and developing the functional ERP roadmaps in order to simplify, standardize and automate business processes and systems using SAP’s, industry and available Roche best practices.
As a Senior Project Support Specialist, you are expected to work closely with other stream members (upstream + downstream) in the definition, design, build, and implementation and future operations of Global Procurement Solution.
Main responsibilities of the jobholder are summarized below :
Support Upstream and Downstream with the process and system design.
Coordinate regional SSC readiness for the new solutions.
Coordinate change management for SSC regarding new solution.
Identify gaps in the system / process (based on as-is and to-be analysis) that impede the project to reach their goal.
Actively participate in design workshops with other streams.
Gather required information on a global level for implementation (working together with other SSC’s).
Create as-is process analysis with sales affiliates in close interaction with KAM.
Support required preparation to implement services for the new solution (e.g. Service Catalogs, SLAs, required resources and skills, SOPs, etc.).
Support new system rollouts deployments of new and participate in deployment and project activities.
Develop deployment documentation for customers and maintain training and learning materials for the team.
Validate the relevance of examples, use cases / user stories and test scenarios that are selected by the other streams members and implement the solution.
Test designed solution to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
Responsible for maintaining and updating process documentations (training materials, Knowledge Base articles).
Train SSC operation and business support teams on new solution.
Bachelor's degree in finance, business, computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
4 Years’ experience in an SSC working on global projects, process and deployment mining topics.
Advanced English skills
Willingness for business travels and flexibility to work in a virtual environment across multiple time zones
System related Skills :
Understanding of ERP.
Advanced knowledge of SRM or ARIBA.
Advanced knowledge of Adonis.
S4Hana knowledge is a plus.
MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel.
SAP solution manager is a plus.
Business Skills :
Procurement process knowledge, preferably Roche.
Experience in global deployment or transition projects.
Strong knowledge of analytical and research skills to solve complex problems.
Confidently communicate with senior management colleagues and is able to work together with a multitude team of different people and cultures, capable of handling interactions with a global mindset.
Ability to operate in a dynamic, fast-moving and changing environment, work under pressure to meet the deployment timelines.
