An opportunity for a Costa Rica based Expert Finance role is available to support the Experian Automotive (Auto) Business Unit for North America.

Our clients can see trends and act before the competition.This role will be responsible for providing support FP&A full cycle within the Auto business unit, creating partnership and constantly looking for process optimization.
The successful candidate will be accountable for the following key duties and responsibilities :
Drive standardization and create efficiencies across financial reporting and analysis models
Drive continuous improvements in forecast accuracy, process efficiencies, and system automations
Analyze and interpret operating results and investigate variances
Prepare monthly management reports and drive continual improvement to streamline and automate routine reports
Leverage Hyperion technology to further improve system automations, analysis capabilities and standardized reporting
Lead ad hoc projects to prepare and report non-standard or financial information as requested by senior management
Drive successful transition and stabilization of offshored budgeting, forecasting, and reporting functions
Adhere to service level agreements (SLAs) and COE performance metrics
Create and maintain desktop procedure documents for routine processes
Manage and maintain effective documentation to ensure creation and maintenance of desktop procedures (DTPs) Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
Master in Business Administration, Certified Public Accountant, or Certified Management accountant preferred
Minimum of 6 years related experience
Experience with working in an offshore shared service center preferred
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting concepts
Strong knowledge of financial analysis and reporting techniques
Critical thinking and the capability to generate consistently accurate and useful reports, as well as enthusiasm for translating data into actionable insight
Able to work in a complex faced environment with many moving parts and frequent changing priorities
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. Ability to interact at all levels within the organization
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement and solve problems in a team environment
Highly motivated, self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and has a demonstrated track record of getting results, organizing and prioritizing deadlines
Ability to build and modify complex Excel models. Strong knowledge of reporting techniques including Dashboards
Aptitude for system automations and streamlining processes
Tableau experience preferred
Experience with enterprise planning systems, Hyperion Planning / Essbase is a plus
Strong project management and organizational skills
Must be able to work under minimal supervision, be proactive and take initiative when needed
Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employers
