As a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) you will help build a meaningful engineering discipline, combining software and systems to develop creative engineering solutions to operations problems.

As an SRE you’ll be focused on running better production applications and systems.
Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-postmortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents
Implement and manage the end to end CICD pipeline
Influence and manage the creation of new designs, architectures, standards and methods for large-scale distributed systems.
Engage with development team throughout the life cycle to help develop software for reliability and scale, ensuring minimal refactoring or changes
Design automated software and product upgrades, change management, and release management solutions
Supporting team members on production readiness and SRE best practices. Escalate to Support teams, Senior management as needed
Coach and manage global team
Drive the 24x7 support coverage for franchise critical application
6+ years IT support or hands-on technical software development or build / release management experience with knowledge of Site Reliability Engineering principles
Experience with development, deployment, and support of large-scale, high volume applications in a mission-critical production environment
Strong knowledge of Windows, UNIX / Linux operating systems and networking / infrastructure
Strong knowledge of Java applications, Database basics, Shell, Python or Perl scripting knowledge
Highly proficient in ETL using Java Spark, Big Data, Hadoop, HDFS
Proficient in implementing CICD tools (Artifactory, Bitbucket (GIT), Sonar, Jira)
Strong working knowledge of working with Micro Services based architecture,
Extensive understating in ECS and AWS cloud technologies with CI / CD pipeline
Understanding of Agile delivery principles
Working knowledge open Source technologies (Maven, Gradle, Splunk, Impala / Hive, Hue)
Working knowledge of highly loaded WEB applications (Tomcat, Java), database (Oracle, MongoDB)
Working knowledge of application monitoring (Appdynamics, Splunk) experiences will be helpful.
Advanced English - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Understanding Finance and regulatory business will be a strong plus
