Duties & Responsibilities
Corporate Finance Group in Costa Rica has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Specialist / Fixed Assets Analyst with minimum of 2 years experience.
Responsibilities in this position will be split between Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets reporting.
Responsible for :
Daily processing of invoices and expense reports to include the resolution of basic invoice matching holds.
Daily interaction and communication with buyers and suppliers may be required.
Managing research related to payments and responding to questions from the internal organization as well as suppliers.
May be required to reconcile and clear supplier accounts.
Fixed assets analysis and researching issues and discrepancies.
Providing support in preparation of Fixed Assets Register Report to be included with Costa Rica Financial Statements.
Additional responsibilities will include :
Ensuring compliance with Accounts Payable policies and controls
Assisting with internal and external audits
Other ad-hoc projects as required.
College degree or equivalent is required.
Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable experience is required.
Knowledge of principles, practices, regulations, and procedures related to Accounts Payable is required.
Oracle and Lotus Notes experience is preferred.
Must be able to interact with vendors in a professional manner.
Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish, both written and verbal, are a must.
Must have excellent analytical skills, problem solving and prioritization skills.
Advanced Excel skills are a must.
Candidate must work well in a dynamic environment and be able to recommend and implement process improvements, work independently and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
