This role will help deal with the technical needs of every area of Gorilla Logic while being available Monday thru Friday from 8 am to 6 pm.
The IT Specialist will work closely with different staff, including senior management and the rest of the organization, and collaborate in assuring fast and reliable IT services throughout the company.
Providing technical support in the organizational IT systems
Provide technical input in the development of standard operating procedures aligned with best practices and ensuring written protocols and guidelines are provided for it staff and all end-users
Assure high technical IT support team in specific tasks such as Mac desktop / workstation / remote support, premises infrastructure support, SAAS configuration and SAAS integration / reporting, as resourcing permits
Managing network infrastructure (Firewall, Switches, etc)
Technical abilities to support internal systems, and externally-facing systems such as the Gorilla Logic website and employee portal, among others
Handle critical technical issues and prompt solutions to external team requests from the USA (Marketing Science and HR teams)
Knowledge of the Cloud infrastructure (Azure / AWS / Google Cloud) and the technical relationship with the vendors
Providing technical guidance in security, including implementation, monitoring and reporting
Handling in-house escalations and giving support to the different teams as required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent proof of experience
Additional training in Information Systems newest technologies (IT assets, networking)
Minimum 2 years of proven experience in the role
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
Excellent customer service skills
