The challenge

Adobe generated $13B revenue in FY 2020 and has completed $10B in strategic acquisitions since 2018. Our Corporate Development team drives Adobe’s inorganic growth roadmap in conjunction with our CEO, top team, and senior leaders.

  • Our most recent acquisitions have include Workfront (closed December 2020; $1.5B Transaction Price), Frame.io (announced August 2021;
  • $1.275B Transaction Price), and ContentCal (announced December 2021; Undisclosed price). Corporate direct investments in past 12 months have been in Vidmob, Lucidlink, Skillshare, Truepic, and Tiled.

    We are looking for an exceptional teammate who is comfortable thinking at a 100,000 ft strategic altitude as well diving into the operational nuts & bolts.

    We are manically focused on delivering shareholder value through M&A integration activities globally, including operational and confirmatory due diligence & post-merger integration.

    This individual will work with senior executives on strategic integration issues across Product / Design / Engineering, Go-To-Market (GTM), IT, Finance, Legal, Accounting, and Employee Experience (EX).

    What you’ll do

  • Partner closely with M&A deal captains from pipeline to due diligence to deal close. Participate in deal confirmatory and operational diligence;
  • provide programmatic leadership for key deals

  • Lead M&A integration strategy, planning and execution.
  • Surface strategic opportunities and roadblocks throughout integration. Elevate the conversation and drive executive decision-making.
  • Develop overall integration plans and milestones. Partner with BU and functional champions to drive Financial, GTM, Product and Employee workstreams.
  • Drive day-to-day execution of the integration process.

  • Develop success metrics aligned with transaction value drivers and report outcomes to the organization.
  • Improve integration outcomes by demonstrating industry standard methodologies and post-integration findings.
  • Help Adobe understand the acquired team. Help new team navigate Adobe.
  • What you need to succeed

  • 10+ years of proven operational and / or M&A integrations experience.
  • Exceptional program and project management skills, and the desire to lead multiple teams and projects.
  • Deep experience with complex, cross-functional business issues and operations.
  • Ability to spot and operationalize breakthrough revenue synergy opportunities.
  • Top-tier MBA and leading integration consultancy firm experience preferred.
  • Spike’ in a key value driving workstream (product, org change / design / talent, GTM, G&A).
