This position will play an important role in the creation of a regional FP&A team that supports Experian’s North America business units.
The primary objective will be creating additional capacity for the North America business units by effectively and efficiently transitioning finance responsibilities from US-based teams to a newly created Costa Rica team.
Responsibilities include hiring, training, capacity planning, establishing controls and governance and business partnering across all business units in North America.
Effectively business partner across all North America business unit finance teams and executive leadership with a focus on transparency and building trust in an effort to transition responsibilities to the Costa Rica team.
Effectively partner with the team project lead to transition from all US teams concurrently, while ensuring all transition status reporting deliverables are met in an accurate and timely manner.
Lead teams of individuals supporting various business units across all aspects of the P&L.
Manage all inputs into transition status reporting and play an important role in aligning with each business unit on transition activities and timelines.
Manage daily, weekly and monthly deliverables of all transitioned responsibilities with a focus on excellence.
Develop proper governance and controls to ensure all deliverables are met accurately and timely and any issues are escalated appropriately.
Consistently develop team members in existing and newly transitioned responsibilities with a focus on strong business partnering, cross training and process improvement.
Lead projects to continuously improve team output and level of service by utilizing lean and robotics process automation (RPA) methodologies.
Institute an effective documentation program to ensure creation and maintenance of desktop procedures including upstream and downstream impacts.
Skills and qualifications
Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in finance.
Experience in finance roles with varying FP&A responsibilities including, but not limited to : variable cost reporting and forecasting, capital expenditure reporting and forecasting, royalty calculations and forecasting, cost and revenue allocations, revenue metric and KPI reporting, driver-based revenue forecasting models.
Experience successfully business partnering with all levels of North America business unit finance
100% English fluency
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or other related Bachelor’s degree
Master in Business Administration, Certified Public Accountant, other related Master degree preferred
Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to drive collaboration and consistency in business support across a team
Knowledge of Enterprise systems
Excellent organization skills and highly process oriented with lean training certification. RPA knowledge a plus
High attention to detail as well as ability to achieve results through delegation across team members
Demonstrated ability to drive continuous improvement, remove roadblocks and solve complex problems in a team environment
Highly motivated, self-starter who manages projects end-to-end and has demonstrated a track record of getting results, organizing and prioritizing deadlines.
Proven previous job stability, including maintaining long-term work relationships with former employers.
