Role Purpose : Leading a skilled team of finance professionals to deliver accurate financial reporting for Experian. This role reports to the Accounting Manager and ensures that the accounts under his / her responsibility are reported in line with company policies and procedures Main Responsibilities : Participates actively in month-
end and year-end closing activitiesReviews and posts journal entries,Performs specific accounting processesReports any deviation to expected close schedulePrepares and / or reviews medium to high complexity GL accounts reconciliations.
Maintains, reviews and actions an Open Items log with all reconciling items to conclusionLeads the Business unit Liaison programme for their area of responsibilityResearches variances and prepares adjustments Ensures that all Balance Sheet accounts are assigned.
Interacts and communicates extensively with all internal customers Provides accounting support to other divisions / cost centers.
Identifies training opportunitiesProactively identifies and delivers process improvements.Leads a small group of finance professionalsDevelops a high performing team, with clear progression and succession plan.
Proactively takes opportunities to improve knowledge and skills. Required Education / Skills : Associates / Bachelors’ degree in AccountingKnowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)Advanced level of English skills, both written and verbal skills Detail oriented with good analytical and organizational skillsIntermediate to advanced Microsoft Office tools spreadsheet skills (MS Excel, MS Word, Power BI and others)Ability to work autonomouslyAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentProven previous job stability, including maintaining long-
