The marketing function has overall responsibility to drive Visa transactions. Also leads the communications strategy, planning and implementation of all global, regional and local 3-D marketing programs in support of marketing strategies and objectives in all brand, product, client and innovation platforms.

Job Description :

This is a Senior Marketing manager role responsible for marketing strategies, plans and communications to drive multiple stakeholder brand preference in the Caribbean and Central America.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and lead all aspects of marketing plans, including all marketing communications, promotions, events, sponsorships / partnerships, digital marketing, for the Caribbean and Central America geography.
  • Define the product / service positioning and messaging strategy in multiple-market marketing plans to ensure consistent application across all components of the marketing mix and across markets and geographies.
  • Identify actionable consumer insights and opportunities via research programs, data analyses, and consumer trends.
  • Identify marketing opportunities with multiple audiences and Clients to develop co-marketing strategies and programs to drive increased Visa business
  • Participate in sales pitch presentations and develop marketing plans to support new business deals.
  • Build and enhance partnerships across the organization including Sales, Product, Merchant Solutions, Finance, and Legal to ensure effective implementation of marketing strategies and plans.
  • Reimagine the use of Visa’s key sponsorship assets, Concerts, Events, FIFA, NFL and the Olympic Games.
  • Define the Social Media strategy bringing your knowledge and creativity to look for innovative ways to capitalize our social, digital, and mobile channels
  • Qualifications

    Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

  • Demonstrated track record on marketing communications including production management, advanced media strategies and placements, and experiential / content marketing
  • Demonstrated track record of developing marketing strategies and communications based on business objectives and executing marketing programs delivering measurable business and brand results.
  • Experience managing and motivating external advertising, promotional, and marketing communications agency partners.
  • Written and verbal communication skills and able to present with impact in both English and Spanish.
  • Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance including ROI and accurately forecasting sources of cost, revenue, and risk with an ability to summarize business and financial data in a useful manner for planning and decision-making.
  • Demonstrated teamwork and relationship-building skills.
  • Advanced planning, organizational, and problem solving skills.
  • Exceptional project management with proven ability to drive alignment in cross cross-functional and geography teams.
  • 10+ years of brand, marketing communications, and trade marketing experience, preferably in a multi-national company and with international brands
  • Experience working with the Caribbean and Central America markets is required.

  • This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers, and reach with hands and arms.
