We want you to have a significant influence and impact on the successful delivery of squad commitments by providing technical leadership in the following ways:
- Guide front-end team by helping them solve technical issues such as improvements to our tech stack, code quality, system performance, and UX design.
- Promote a breadth of understanding of our technology ecosystem (“full-stack galaxy”; all of its stars & black holes) and its respective impacts on the front-end team.
- Advocating for front-end development best practices
- Assisting our recruitment teams in finding the right people.
- Developing people through coaching and mentoring.
Have a high level of expertise in:
- 5+ years overall experience as a Front End Developer.
- Modern CSS frameworks (such as Bootstrap/SCSS/LESS)
- Front-end Frameworks (Angular 7 is preffered, but others like React & VueJS will do!)
- UX Design
- Modern development workflow (Github, Pull Requests, Unit Testing)
As well as a familiarity of the following:
- Mobile Hybrid App Experience (such as Ionic / Cordova, React Native)
- Microservices written in everything from Elixir, NodeJS, and Play Framework
- APIs (REST)
- Database technologies.
- Storage, containers, Cloud platforms (Azure, Docker)
- Backend language (scala, java)
