The CAR Contract Logistics Solution Design Manager develops solutions working closely with sales and other product managers.
In charge of design and create the logistic solutions base on the customer needs . In close cooperation with the respective Product Manager, analyze the feasibility of the opportunities, help sales team to approach customers, support to get a long-term deal with key customers and assist Contract Logistics Project Implementation whenever is needed.
KEYS RESPONSIBILITIES :
Develop solutions in line with Maersk strategy and customer needs
Develop and maintain solutions in line with Maersk strategy and customer needs
Taking full ownership of a project from scoping to design
Being responsible and accountable for all project deliverables
Assist Product Developers on new facilities business case creation
Maximize use of existing facilities with new projects
Quantify the solution resource and implementation requirements e.g., FTE’s costs, EDI development, facilities, capabilities, equipment / service.
Establish effective stakeholder management with business and front-line organization (Work with Procurement / IT / Delivery / HSSE / Legal / Finance to develop the solutions )
Manage the Contract Logistics Product Catalogue including new product design, costing and approval.
Prepare project budgets and all levels of project portfolio
Prepare request for service and conduct internal review
Prepare project initiation package, coordination and onboarding for new customers
Lead the estimation of project costing, CAPEX, OPEX investment processes and
Assist with the estimation of running costs.
Handle the approval process before getting projects signed off.
Ensure that risks and issues are managed properly for each project
Handle changes to the project and Conduct necessary escalations.
Prepare weekly internal reporting
Lead the project cost management and Cost vs Benefit analysis jointly with Finance
Gather lesson learned
Work to continuously improve the processes
Establish effective stakeholder management with business and front-line organization.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR :
University Degree in Logistics, Operations or related.
At least 5 years of experience in Logistics (Container terminal, Cold Chain Solutions, Depot, WnD ) industry.
Project Management experience
Analysis, Design, Costing / Finance acumen, etc.
Project planning (e.g. Gannt, Milestone, PERT)
Project Reporting and governance
Contingency Planning and risk analysis
Formulating Goals and Setting Direction (e.g. WBS (Work Breakdown Structure))
Resource Planning and requirements Management
Knowledge of international regulations on safety standards and good practices in the shipping industry or terminal operations
Advanced English level.
