Position Summary :
Develop and implement effective strategies to maximize the business potential of assigned key accounts as well as develop new business in line with company objectives and personal goals.
The person will be in charge of managing and developing business opportunities for the Dragonfly software product line across all fields and industries.
He / She will have to analyze major opportunities, prepare and implement sales strategies and account management plans. He / she will be required to actively participate in all launch strategies and implement a plan to maximize product releases.
The duties also include preparing quotes, collecting orders but also influencing co-workers and management with the allocation of the right resources needed to achieve the agreed upon sales tactics and objectives.
Location : USA, West coast
Main territories : West coast of North America (USA, Canada), Latin America (South and Central America). Territories allocation may be subject to modifications.

What will you do?
Plan and organize sales activities on the assigned territory in order to achieve regional and account revenue targets.
Actively participate in the preparation and the implementation of a sales plan around the release of a new products.
Perform ongoing active prospection through direct sales activities including following up leads, prospecting, cold calling, participation to conferences and professional events, use of existing research database and own network.
Develop new business through maintaining a database of targeted organizations and ensuring that clear action items are always ongoing.
Find new business opportunities within existing clients through regular communication and face to face visits.
Develop an account planning strategy for key targeted organizations.
Develop and deliver sales presentations through web meetings and direct visits ; conduct consultative meetings with customers;
and ensure that technical and service requirements are met.
Identify / recommend strategic sales direction. Stay current with competition and other potential solution offerings.
Regularly report on closed and expected business and deliver weekly consistent forecasts to management
Who are we looking for?
Experience in interacting and selling scientific business software and / or professional services and solutions to engineering and industrial organizations particularly in the fields of Aerospace, Automotive, Semi-Conductor and other manufacturing industries.
Established contacts in any or all of the following fields of 3D X-ray : industrial 3D CT inspection, industrial 3D CT metrology, 3D CT systems, 3D CT scanning services, quality compliance, 3D measurement and analysis, 3D Software solutions.
Experience in selling to C-level executives and upper management within small and large organizations. Ability to implement a sales strategy and selling methodology (Miller Heiman or similar)
Successful track record of new account development and large account management.
Education, Experience and Abilities :
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree or equivalent plus 3 or more years successful sales experience.
At least 8-12 years’ experience in related industry
General knowledge of computer sciences & 3D data analysis and visualization
Should have a working knowledge of company products, policies and operational procedures and the ability to understand and explain relevant technical issues.
Physical Requirements : This position requires excellent communication skills (listening and speaking), mental / visual aptitude for testing and the ability to successfully handle all or a number of the job functions at or about the same time, and be able to prioritize functions.
Additional requirements include performing activities requiring sustained concentration, e.g., preparing sales forecasts.
About 35% travel required.
