3M is seeking a Goods-Receipt / Invoice-Receipt Specialist for our Intercompany team. This position will be located in Belen, Heredia as part of our Global Service Center in Costa Rica.

Job summary :

This position is responsible for applying analytical skills for analysis and providing resolution services such as financial information, analysis, and advising for use in business analysis and decision-

making always complying with professional and quality standards, corporate policies and procedures, and acting in a manner consistent with 3M’s values and ethical standards.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

  • Responsible to analyze ICO invoices, FI / MM type.
  • Find root causes and propose solutions to prevent GRIR discrepancies.
  • Align to established KPI’s, SLA’s and operational metrics.
  • Play a leadership role among the team providing direction, advice, or focus, as needed.
  • Apply analytical skills for analysis and interpretation of trends or data generated by company reporting systems.
  • Calculate, analyze and explain mismatches in GR / IR accounts variances to finance management and line management.
  • Handle Inquiries of different levels of complexity coming from diverse areas across de company.
  • Develop and lead improvements and / or solutions to work processes and tools.
  • Presents project recommendations to appropriate personnel that demonstrate sound planning in support of business needs and goals.
  • Ensures financial data integrity and accuracy.
  • Interact with both internal and external customers.
  • Drive the month end closing process related to the Accounts Payable Operation.
  • Understand Company’s Principles and Procedures.
  • Qualifications / Requirements :

  • Bachelor degree in Finance / Accounting or related area.
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant working experience.
  • Advanced English skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Leadership Skills.
  • Customer Focus.
  • Analytical and adaptable to changes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • SAP ERP MM / FI Experience
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Lean Six Sigma Certification
