The Solution Cell is multi-discipline team that provides Solutioning-as-a-Service to respond to accounts' Non-Standard Service Requests (NSSR).
The objective of the team is to accelerate revenue through increased focus, standardization, reuse, and faster turnaround time.
Server Solutions Architect
The solution integrator (SI) is a client facing role who owns the NSSR for technical for Solutioning requests in the DXC organization.
Acts as the entry point for all technical Solutioning requests and is the liaison between the engineering teams and the account / customer team.
Attend to technical Requirements Review per schedule.
Engage all needed technical capabilities to solution.
Schedule and host all Requirements, and Solutioning meetings.
Coordinate communications / emails between engaged parties during the Solutioning process.
Provide completed requirements to capabilities to enable the accurate solution of the NSSR.
Update the tool with all meeting notes / minutes and all relevant documentation during the solution process.
Ensure capabilities provide solutions within Service Level Agreement timeframes.
Consolidate solution parts from capabilities.
Assist capabilities with DPS (Design Proposal Summary) document.
Provides an end to end understanding of how the technical solution should look , ensuring all Capability inputs are defined to the appropriate standard enabling a cost model to be produced.
Provide completed solution to Account Business Office (ABO) for Pricing and Statement of Work (SOW) creation.
Monitors and communicates process / procedure updates required.
May be leveraged to perform a Subject Matter Expert (SME) role from time to time if the technical domain experience is satisfactory.
Owns the solution from end to end, driving to timely completion and any escalation, engagement, and follow-up required.
Contributes to process improvements to increase efficiency of the Solutioning activity by encouraging re-use, standard catalog, and innovation that driver operational performance improvements
Works with other SI’s and SME’s to conduct peer reviews of solution documentation.
Conducts solution review with account team members to obtain account approval of solution prior to turning over the solution to ABO for submission
Works with the client to identify customer business problems, asks probing questions, resolve concerns, and creates solutions to fit business needs while building relationships of trust.
Bachelor s degree in System / Computer Engineering, related field or equivalent experience.
Fluency in English language (spoken and written)
Advanced experience in server administration (Wintel, Unix, Linux)
Strong Knowledge in Database or Middleware Technologies.
Virtualization and Cloud skills.
Experience in solution activities, design or engineering.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Mature, professional attitude with strong work ethic.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Able to resolve conflicts (investigating facts and providing solutions).
Capable of Analyze Complex Scenarios. The person should be able to analyze and understand different scenarios to determine and provide a solution to the customer.
Capable of communicate effectively. The candidate must communicate effectively with all stakeholders to avoid misunderstandings and delay in processes.
Proactive. The person in this role needs to be a very proactive person and has to be able to work with little to none supervision.
Capable of creating clear technical documentation.
Team player. Ability to collaborate and cooperate with members of team and members of other teams
Self-learner, self-starter and multitasking skills with minimal supervision.
Initiative for creating procedure documents, user guides, and internal operational guidelines.
