This position reports to the Sr. FP&A Manager in Costa Rica.

The main focus of this position will be to lead Worldwide bookings (revenue) reporting, analytics, planning and adhoc requests for the Corporate Long-

range planning team. A key deliverable for this role would be the Company Long-range plan. The Analyst will need to liaise with other Financial controllers and other Corp FP&A team members to provide proper financial partnership around projects, analysis and reporting.

Additionally; the Analyst will be an active participant or leader in the development of driver based financial models for Corporate Finance.

Further, other important activities of the role are to participate in the preparation of presentations for VMware executives, Board of Directors meetings and external stakeholders among other challenging and high exposure deliverables.

  • Skills and knowledge :

  • Knowledge of the MS office package. Strong PowerPoint, Advanced Excel and modeling skills are necessary

  • Qualifications :

  • Degree in Business, Finance or related fields, Masters degrees are a big plus
  • 2-3 years of experience in Financial Planning and Analysis roles with a strong record of career progression.
  • Ability and experience working in cross functional teams
  • Motivated individual with a desire to learn and to grow in a fast moving environment
  • Confidence to ask for help to his or her peers and / or superiors
  • Quick learner and interested in developing his or her career in a fast pace and challenging environment
