Description The purpose of this position is to develop the assigned region by managing one Distributor. This is reached though planning and execution of different actions required meeting company targets : -

Negotiate with the distributor the target growth for each of Mondelez categories and products. -Participate in the planning and design process to achieve the established growth target.

  • Influence and advise the Distributors sales force to ensure the execution of the commercial strategic plans (Perfect Store, Revenue Management, Right Store, Category Strategies, etc).
  • Responsible to achieve or exceed established targets for Sales, merchandising and distribution while working within assigned budgets. Responsibilities
  • Distributor Management : Ensure sales results established by Mondelez, by category and brand through the distributor. Monitor Sell In and Sell Out by category and inventories.
  • Establish and develop sales strategies for each category of visibility, coverage and distribution in order to increase sales.

  • Distributor Sales Force Advising : Be a partner for the leaders of the distributors to provide solutions and strategies that contribute to the execution and achievement of sales targets.
  • Recommend and help develop the necessary capabilities to execute the agreed programs.

  • Constant coordination with Sales Operations : Advances SO / Coverage / Sales Dashboards / PS Surveys, giving constant visibility of the main KPIs of sales and execution both for his Mondelez team and the Distributor.
  • Dealing with the Distributor : Responsible for the relationship with the Distributor at all commercial levels (Sales Managers, Supervisors and Catman).
  • Establish, discuss and monitor the sales KPI’s (Sales targets, Volume targets, Prices targets, Out of Stock, Features, displays, distribution, Return on Investment analysis).

    Responsible to ensure the execution of strategies for TT Channel through Distributors Sales Force.

  • Provide continuous feedback to monitor sales and other support areas on the activities of the company and competition, always in search of new ideas to accelerate the growth of our categories & brands.
  • Sales Incentive Funds Control : Responsible for the control of the Gross to Net budget for one specific TD, so that in alignment to company policies and to strategies created by each Category, effective sales strategies & programs are executed, achieving volume and revenue targets for that TD.
  • Forecasting Process : Provide input to his manager necessary for the manager to create the forecast to get the most accuracy estimated by SKU and distribution channels, to ensure the correct product volume according to timings negotiated to accomplish with the trade pullout needs.
  • Sales Advisors Management : Supervise the actions performed by the sales advisors, support them to resolve important issues that might affect the operation, control KPIs regarding visits and Purchase Orders, contributing to their professional development and capability building, supporting the "Great Place to Work" pillars.
  • Academic Knowledge

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or related fields (Degree preferred). Working Knowledge
  • At least 5 years of experience at sales department, in Consumer Products industry, managing external distributors in Commercial positions of multi-national companies.
  • At least 2 years of leading Sales teams.
  • Ability to present information to senior level management in a concise and persuasive manner. Willing to challenge and question.
  • Experience in handling complex situations.
  • Ability to handle business financials adequately (Profit & Loss, Budget, Commercial Investment).
  • Strong skills on Sales and negotiation. English level advance, oral and written. Competencies
  • Business and Financial knowledge : -Have knowledge about competitors, the demand and the market dynamics, preferences of consumers.
  • Have knowledge to recognize strategies and tactics in the market.
  • Development of strategic partners.
  • Sell and negotiate with impact.
  • Able to communicate and execute Sales programs and policies and to demonstrate executional decision making abilities.
  • Sales experience is essential to support critical problem solving skills that will be required in dealing with our customers and the Sales Teams.
