Job Purpose : The Process Improvement role involves embedding a continuous improvement philosophy and discipline for global processes, acting as a focal point in the Costa Rica CSC.

The role is expected to drive improvement and standardization of services, processes and tools globally, enabling operational efficiencies, improved controls and reduced risks.

The role supports the Regulatory Reporting Group area. This role requires engaging FRSS employees, coaching and reviewing project progress, and maximizing benefits in terms of productivity / quality improvement and tracking the financial savings.

engineering Head Key Responsibilities :

  • Work closely with Global Process Lead (GPL), Global Process Reeng. Lead (GPRL) and Regional Process Leads (RPL) to drive execution of identified Reeng projects across centers
  • Assist GPL and RPLs to identify new re-engineering opportunities thru process reviews, deep dives, and other means; review and vet feasibility of new opportunities
  • Work with other process teams on cross-process initiatives
  • Ensure Global Productivity Tracker is always accurate owns the data integrity
  • Project manage the Reeng Projects for GPL and track execution with RPLs
  • Perform continuous business process performance measurements to identify current baseline for further process improvement activities.
  • Provide business process improvement consultancy for business stakeholders in the Regulatory Reporting Group.
  • Provide project management support both on own and other projects in alignment with GPRL.
  • Assist in conducting current state assessments by process mapping and develop future state designs for various processes in alignment with GPRL.
  • Identify potential projects, issues, risks, and facilitate remediation in alignment with GPRL.
  • Provide required deliverable updates, reviews and other required communications.
  • Assist in coordinating internal project teams in the identification, design and delivery of process improvement initiatives.
  • Support ongoing employee idea program to follow up new items and implementation.
  • Provide progress report to key stakeholders regularly and ensure effective implementation of reinforcement activities and rewards program.
  • Coordinate the creation of the local yearly re-engineering plan with head count and financial impact
  • Track the financial impact of the Re-engineering initiatives in coordination with the Strategy and Execution and Human resources Team
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications Knowledge / Experience :

  • Education : Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering, Finance or Business fields required
  • Fluent in English and Spanish both written and verbal communication
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience preferably in a Financial services organization, Consulting experience is a plus
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (American Society of Quality is a Plus)
  • Formal Project Management Certification (Masters in Project Management is a Plus)
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Dashboard creation and data analytical skills (Metrics Oriented)
  • Process mapping, automation, and streamlining processes experience. Project management experience preferred.
  • Strong ability to influence people without direct authority
  • Highly proficient in the use of desktop tools and software such as Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
