The Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) Financial Health Review Supplier Lead Analyst will manage the end to end process for ongoing financial reviews on Third Parties (TPs) identified as Tier 3, Tier 4 and Tier 5 by the TP Risk Assessment Process (TP RAP).

Further, this role will manage the end to end process of pre-contract supplier financial evaluations in scope of the Third Party Management (TPM) policy.

Reporting to the Risk Assessment Lead, this position will liaise with the Financial Evaluation Program Oversight Team, Sourcing, Third Party Commercial Risk, Third Party Risk Assessment team, and an external resource to coordinate financial reviews.

Manage the end-to-end Financial Evaluation (FE) process for Citi External Third Parties (TP) during the On-going Monitoring Phase

Perform additional analysis on High financial risk financial reviews performed by the external resource and escalate concerns to TP Commercial Risk

  • Manage the end-to-end Financial Evaluation (FE) process for Citi External Third Parties (TP) during the Pre-Contract Due Diligence process for new and renewal engagements
  • Perform Quality Control (QC) activities on High financial risk financial reviews performed by the external resource and escalate concerns to TP Commercial Risk regarding a Go-No-go decision

  • Lead key initiatives to further improve the Financial Evaluation Oversight Program and the Financial Health Review Program
  • Identify, develop, document, and implement process enhancements as required based on changing regulatory or client requirements
  • Partner with the TP-RAP, Third Party Credit Risk, Third Party Commercial Risk, Third Party Utility, Sectors and Business to ensure adherence and compliance to the TPM Policy and other related policies
  • Act as subject matter expert and provide input into global policy, standards, procedures and internal processes for Third Party Financial Evaluations
  • Provide oversight, management, and delegation of multiple projects / team tasks, often with competing priorities and limited resources
  • Support internal and external reviews by the OCC, Compliance and Internal audit as required
  • Identify and implement continuous process improvement initiatives, including defining business requirements, reviewing specifications, and providing user acceptance testing support
  • Ensure operating procedure documents are current and appropriate controls are established and documented
  • Keep abreast of business-specific policies and standards involving Third Party financial due diligence
  • Support TP Management (TPM) governance committees as required
  • Other related supplier risk governance duties as required
  • Qualifications

  • Preferred 7+ years of relevant experience in financial analysis, operations, risk management and controls. Direct experience with Third Party risk management highly preferred
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, ability to perform and review financial analysis, and identify areas of concern
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to present information in a succinct format to management
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy with a keen eye for process management and documentation
  • Proactive problem-solving and decision-making, with the ability to exercise sound, timely and independent judgment
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in English, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate complex and sensitive issues to management
  • Ability to quickly grasp and master new requirements and related knowledge
  • Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, capacity to perform well under pressure
  • Cross-cultural, cross-functional, and ability to collaborate across geographic locations
  • Proficient in MS Office applications
