Problem Manager

The problem manager is responsible for the assigned problem reviews and Root Cause Analyses. Also, for the successful implementation of Problem Processes at local level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adopt, adapt, and deploy documented processes for Problem Management at the local level
  • Interface directly with Service Delivery : Technical Leads, Root Cause Owners, Operational Leads to ensure FMO process compliance
  • Creating and Maintaining records of Problems
  • Understanding and utilizing Problem tools
  • Monitoring Problem queues
  • Assisting in maintenance of Known Error Records
  • Maintaining and Updating Problem Records where required
  • Facilitating Local meeting when needed
  • Education / Qualifications :

  • Bachelor s degree, or courses in Systems Engineering, related or equivalent experience ( 1 to 3 years of experience )
  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Intermediate excel skills
  • Strong Interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Extremely motivated and Customer focused
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize among a number of problems independently
  • React and adjust positively to change and to new ways of doing things
  • Experience working on a team working with virtual team members around the world
  • Technical Writing
  • ITIL certification (desired)
  • Six Sigma knowledge or certification (desired)
