Job Description :

Persons hired for the GL Team Coordinator position will be part of the GSC RTR team and will be responsible for coordinating process migrations, reviewing / approving accounting transactions, ensuring SLAs and KPIs are met, providing day-

to-day coaching of the team, and driving process improvement.

The GL Team Coordinator's responsibilities will include, but not be limited to the following :

  • Play a lead role in migrating processes from one of 3M’s subsidiaries to the Costa Rica GSC
  • Provide coaching for rest of Regional RTR team including GL, Fixed Assets, Inter-Company, and Product Costing areas
  • Ensure SLAs and KPIs are achieved and customer expectations are met
  • Final approver for journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and lead team in implementing them
  • Basic Qualifications :

  • Bacherlor’s degree (completed)
  • Fluent English B2 Level or 85% - read, write, speak
  • A problem solver with a client service and quality oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team oriented person who can focus on the details
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or higher (Licenciatura, Maestria) in Accounting or Finance
  • Preferred experience working within Service Center environment with direct experience with GL, Fixed Assets, Product Costing, Inventory, and / or Inter-Company
  • Direct supervision experience
  • Process improvement experience Lean Six Sigma
  • Working knowledge of A / S400 and / or SAP
