Under supervision, the Inside Sales Technician I will provide quote support and basic technical support to our internal and external sales personnel.
Responsibilities Technical Review, Quote and sizing preparation :
Generate and select model numbers based on customer's specific data or application.
Develop quotations based on Emerson Customers and Representative's requirements.
Utilize system tools to provide customer product application support and review solutions as required with the Inside / Field Sales Representatives.
Review quotes for technical conformance as in valid model options, configuration ranges, documentation options and device compatibility.
Participate in all aspects of preparing the quotation package and ensure that it is sent to the customer as promised.
This includes the technical, commercial and competitive strategy appropriate for the selling opportunity.
Have good working knowledge of Emerson quotation tools and pricing policies.
Responsibility to continually enhance their knowledge of Emerson products, applications, and industries served.
Provide backup and support for internal and external sales personnel / s to maintain good service levels.
Provide consulting support to the Sales Facilitators / Order Management when processing an order.
Process, Systems & Tools :
Maintain proficiency and utilize all Emerson business systems required to process proposals and other related documents.
Maintain accurate records of all activities related to quotes from receipt of the request to until request is fulfilled.
Understand and implement all aspects of the organization's document retention procedures.Understand and consistently apply Emerson commercial policies and business practices related to quote entry Ensure compliance with import / export, contract and government requirements.
Screen orders for compliance with the business unit Terms and Conditions and standards.
Job Knowledge & Teamwork :
Act as back up to internal and external sales personnel / s to maintain good service levels as required by the business Understand basics of Emerson products, model numbers and price list.
Understand general customer needs for each buying influence and main industries served by the business units.
Understand basic Emerson differentiation strategy, the fundamentals ofSystem Thinking and CIP tools.
Attain and retain Yellow Belt certification.
Perform other duties as required.
Requirements Bachelor's degree or advanced student in Engineering (Electronic, Mechanics or related).
1 year of sales experience, related customer service experience is preferred.
Advanced Portuguese speaker.

Must demonstrate strong communication skills and good level of written and spoken English.

Must be able to work well in a close team setting.
Aptitude for technical topics is required.
Solid keyboard skills and a strong proficiency for using Windows & MS Office applications is a must.
