Job Purpose :

The Information Services Sourcing Analyst supports Sourcing Managers. This position interacts with many levels of management, including sourcing managers and senior management from various businesses and suppliers.

Job Background :

The Citi Service Center (CSC) is a "shared services" organisation with a concentration of resources leveraging common activities across NAM-

LATAM Supply Chain. The Enterprise Supply Chain (ESC) CSC leverages Citigroup’s scale and efficiencies in common activities that are not core to any individual business, with a goal of lower cost and higher service levels.

Key Responsibilities :

The Information ServicesSourcing Analyst participates in the sourcing process for the various products and services within the Market Data Sourcing team.

The Sourcing Analyst is a facilitator of the overall sourcing process and supports the cross-functional team in developing and executing sourcing, supplier management strategies, and low to medium complexity contract negotiations (including but not limited to drafting and red-lining contracts).

The Sourcing Analyst has to be organized, detailed and results oriented and have strong multi-tasking skills as he / she will be responsible for all aspects of sourcing and contract management processes from strategy through negotiation and contract execution.

Essential Position Responsibilities :

oParticipate and support in the development, management and analysis of purchasing requirements, leading some of these activities.

oSupport supplier negotiations, financial analysis, financial modelling and its respective analytics, leading some of these activities.

oModelling of different scenarios (i.e. make vs. buy, different service models etc.)

oContracts drafting and red-lining.

oEnsure that purchase requirements are accurately aligned with framework agreements

oWork with suppliers to measure and track performance and any reporting / reconciliation requirements.

oExtensive interaction with all levels ofCiti business management and the ability to respond to inquiries and clarify requirements in in a timely manner.

oOwn the end-to-end process for some low-to-medium complex suppliers, including managing the supplier relationship

oAbility to manage multiple business and supplier projects including new services and renewals at any given time.

oUtilize various sourcing tools and processes to research supplier and commodity information.

oReport and record sourcing activities such as : eSourcing, Sourcing Strategy, Projects, Savings, Contracts, Approved Suppliers, eSourcing and maintain up-

to-date accurate data within the eSourcing system.

oMeet all audit guidelines and ensure adherence to Citi process and procedures.

oLiaise with Sourcing Managers, Legal, internal customers and suppliers in written communication and via video and teleconference

  • Complete all tasks in connection with the organization’s activity but not detailed in the current job description, charged by the direct manager, supervisor, or the functional head.
  • Qualifications

    Knowledge and Experience :

  • Familiarity with sourcing,
  • Certified Procurement Professional such as CPM or CIPS is a plus
  • Commercial awareness
  • Experience of Procurement applications (Oracle or SAP eSourcing an advantage)
  • Experience of working in an international context
  • Process improvement skills an advantage
  • P2P experience an advantage
  • Skills :

  • Working knowledge of MS Office
  • Experience with Access and Excel a plus
  • Good level of numeracy skills, financial modelling / accounting skills is highly desirable

  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Contract and Vendor Management experience is preferred
  • Able to speak, read and write English fluently
