Job Purpose :

The Data Support Manager is responsible for leading and supervising daily and monthly data acquisition, data processing and enrichment and outbound data delivery for Citi Platforms and key target partners.

This person will be responsible to guarantee the appropriate execution of key controls and will be first point of contact in case of issues or escalation from business partners and key stakeholders.

The Data Support Operations Manager will be also in charge of managing multiple teams (10-15 direct reports) and ensuring an adequate monitoring and Support for UAT & System Enhancements plus maintaining an oversight Risk and Control Operational Readiness, Training Status, Mandatory Vacation Plans and other administrative team deliverables.

The Data Support Manager will be responsible to actively participate in Daily and month-end RAG System status reporting and provide Issue management reviews with Support Partners and key Stakeholders.

This person will ensure Operational Readiness and also the corresponding Change Management Process Attestation.

This person will have to interact with TI / Technology applications support teams and also with senior customers for different products and financial services.

Some of the general activities will involve the following :

1.Approving system maintenance, inbound / outbound feeds and processing support.

2.Performing queries and reports on the various system platforms we support as needed.

3.Ensuring appropriate scheduling and running of daily and month end jobs as needed.

4.Performing investigations and providing customer support, as needed.

5.Serve as contact point for a specific set of customers for escalation and communications.

6.Coordinate roles and responsibilities of different teams within the department.

Job Key Responsibilities :

1.Ensure an accurate, efficient, and timely processing of operations tasks (uploads, reports, queries, customer support, execute jobs) as required.

2.Approve operating calendars as needed and execute operations to published calendars.

3.Create and define any required control procedure as part of the sustaining process.

4.Support, prioritize and coordinate any project / Controls needed to mitigate identified risk, roadblocks or issues impacting the Month End Close.

5.Identify improvement opportunities, process risks, gaps or any help needed and communicate with business analyst & direct manager in a timely manner.

6.Maintain an efficient, direct and timely communication with direct manager, team members and customers. Include being a team player and problem solver.

7.Actively participate in training, communication, process improvement projects as assigned by direct manager in accordance with Citi objectives.

8.Coordinate and / or supervise team activities as needed

9.Provide feedback to team as needed by performing monthly 1 : 1 career development conversations with all direct staff.

Job Skill-Set Requirements :

1.Bachelor’s degree with 8-10+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 6-8+ years' experience.

2.Relevant Professional qualification in Finance or Accountant, Systems Engineering or Business Administration.

3.Relevant Shared Services work experience >

6 years.

4.Advance English proficiency (oral and written).

5.Good proficiency in Excel and Access, including working knowledge of formulas, links, and pivot tables.

6.Solid customer service and communication skills.

7.Strong analytical skills.

Desirable Skills :

1.Prior experience with ERP / GL systems highly desirable (PeopleSoft, SAP, ORACLE or equivalent).

2.Prior experience with data warehouses, data mining, data analysis.

3.Prior experience with SQL Server, Business Objects or other analytical tools or reporting engines.
