The position is critical for ensuring complete operational readiness. You will support and enhance existing products and services, drive continuous automation and integration, also participate in new product and feature development.

Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
Be responsible for customer facing, high availability mission critical applications and systems.
Comply with defined SLA’s and KPI’s.
Troubleshoot problems, determine of causes for problem, implement, document, and track problem resolutions.
Work with internal support teams and external clients to provide timely resolution to high impact issues.
Pro-actively communicate status to decision makers, stakeholders and customers.
Analyze and resolve complex problems including interoperability issues, issues caused by hardware or software.
Develop and implement processes and procedures for Automated Deployments and Continuous Integration.
Participate in on call duty to support applications and services.
Create and maintain technical documentation including system configuration, mapping, processes, and operational runbooks.
Establish performance measures for management of systems, analyze problems, make recommendations for improvements / growth, and implement tuning adjustments.
Analyze disaster recovery scenarios, develop on-site backup & recovery requirements.
Direct, conduct and participate in architecture / design review, requirements analysis, capacity planning and provide guidance to development and product management teams.
Partner with internal teams while taking initiative to implement and improve organizational processes and procedures.
Participate in new product and feature development, implement technical solutions that meet business needs.
Provide guidance and mentoring to more junior engineers.
Experience and Qualifications :
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).
At least 2 years of business experience in supporting complex applications and systems and preferably data processing.
Strong customer service orientation.
Effective communication both verbally and in writing, with internal teams, customers, and vendors. Ability to provide precise and accurate information in a timely manner.
Logical thinking, strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Time management and organizational skills.
Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Proficiency in Unix / Linux, and scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, etc.
Knowledge with administrating Linux (CenOS) and Windows operating systems.
Knowledge with supporting and administrating Cloud technologies.
Ability to troubleshoot applications written in the following programming languages : C / C++, C#, Python and apply fixes at source code level.
Experience with database, SQL query.
Experience or working knowledge with MySQL, MSSQL, DB2.
Skills in data manipulation and analysis.
Experience and knowledge in the following areas desired : Spark, RabbitMQ, Redis, Graylog, REST, various AWS services including AWS API, EMR, EC2 and Aurora.
Basic understanding of Network, web application, Apache Tomcat.
Experience with GIT, Jenkins, etc.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Rotational after hours on-call support is required .
