Our key customers are engineers working on all of Intel's platforms. The team provides a computing environment and support that includes source control, build and test automation, and static code analysis tools.
A typical day for you might include :
Developing automation and environment improvements to make life easier for developers and support partnering with business units on future technology and process needs Management of Application Lifecycle Management ALM software Analyzing issues and recommending solutions for development workflows
Delivering changes from concept to production
Driving operational excellence in all services provided to customers
Required Skills :
Completed a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an IT related field such as computer science.
Experience in Python, Perl, and Bash, and a desire to learn more. Other useful development skills would include Java, C, REST, XML, and SOAP
Experienced Linux administrator
Passion for technical troubleshooting and problem solving. Specifically, you will be solving software tool / application and OS configuration problems.
Knowledge of cloud compute environments and containerization SaaS, PaaS, Docker, Kubernetes
Networking concepts and knowledge of server virtualization TCP / IP, client / server architectures, VMWare
Familiarity with and enthusiasm for software engineering best practices such as continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps
Ability to thrive in a rapidly evolving, globally distributed environment
Familiar with ITIL Processes and agile methodology
In addition to the above the following skills are preferred :
Experience in PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, and other database technologies Windows administration
Experience with monitoring architectures and tools Ability to write effective technical documentation Our current toolsets cover source code management Gitlab, Perforce, TeamForge, TFS, Github, ClearCase, and Subversion, static and IP analysis Klocwork, Protex, and Code Center, code review Collaborator, Gerrit, Swarm, and Crucible, and build and release Team City, Jenkins, and Artifactory
Experience in supporting these applications is not necessary, however a passion to support Intel's development engineers is required.
