Job Description & Responsibilities :
The Channel Center of Excellence (COE) is an organization within Sales & Marketing SMG Finance supporting our distributors worldwide.
The Channel COE provides end-to-end finance service including weekly Distributor reporting, channel program rebate calculations & payments as well as revenue close.
The COE is involved on quarterly financial reporting & supports geo managerial reporting. The position requires a strong understanding of our Intel Channel business, policies, practices, and financial accounting in order to anticipate and address potential revenue impact.
The position provides opportunities to build strong financial systems experience, business acumen, and business partnership skills.
Sr. Channel Finance Analyst job responsibilities include but not limited to : Channel COE team lead, provides coaching to 2 finance analysts, leads revenue close and works with WWR central close team including FASB revenue recognition changes, be the primary contact within Worldwide Revenue for all Sarbanes-
Oxley and Controls activity in the Channel Revenue area, be engaged in M&A integration / system implementation as the channel COE representative, be the process expert & own Channel Close BPM L2 role, review and approve manual rebate / adjustment requests, drives analytical projects to grow Intel channel business.
Required skillsets : Strong experience in accounting & financial analysis skills, systems aptitude, strong oral and written English communication skills, ability to work both independently and as a team.
The candidate must have the ability to perform complex variance analysis and management reporting with superior data integrity.
To be successful, he / she will be required to work and influence across organizations and geographies to accomplish goals.
Must have :
BA in Accounting, Finance, with 3+ years of experience in Finance roles.
Intermediate / Advance knowledge in Excel / Microsoft / MS Office
Preferred : Industry knowledge
Experience in leadership roles.
Experience with SAP or multiple financial systems.
Experience working with peer organizations (other than Finance) and multiple geographies (other than CR).
