As a software engineer, you will be responsible for development across the entire web stack of SchoolMint. This includes building front-
end features, backend APIs, database design and overall optimizations. Working in a fast paced startup also means quickly catching up and mastering any and all the technologies needed to iterate and grow fast.
BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience
5 years of relevant professional experience
Proven ability to learn quickly on the job and adapt to new technologies and challenges
Proficient with Ruby on Rails
Good understanding of RDBMS concepts and proficient using SQL
Good interpersonal, communication and documentation skills
Strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn all aspects of a SAAS business
Get things done without a lot of handholding
Knowledge of linux shell scripting and AWS
