PURPOSE OF POSITION

Responsible for the overall execution and accountability of the project from PM80 through PM700. Responsible for the overall project plan and budget, attainment of project goals & objectives, project key metrics, and periodic project status reporting to the project team and senior management.

Effectively organizes and manages the resources provided and acts as the main interface to the Steering Committee.

Performance measures :

Targets and Objectives, Business Case results, Schedule and Cost performance, Customer Satisfaction rating, Contract and Claim Mgmt.

Areas of Responsibility, Authority and Tasks

  • Overall responsibility for the assigned project
  • Lead and manage assigned projects to deliver on target agreements
  • Provide project transparent controlling & reporting to local & global management
  • Lead formal client interface on assigned projects and keep all project stakeholders informed on project status
  • Lead assigned project team members to accomplish assigned work and conduct timely team meetings
  • Ensure effective & efficient project close-out and handover if required
  • Responsible for project risk, project change, and project claim management
  • Responsible for all decisions affecting project financial and schedule outcomes
  • Create and lead management of the project execution plan
  • Create and maintain critical path schedule for the project
  • Escalates project issues to appropriate management for prompt resolution.

  • Competencies

    Technical & functional know-how (Technologies / Methodologies / Professional Knowledge / Languages)

    PM Siemens certification C (preferred) or PMI certification (acceptable alternative)

    Project requirements, cost and time management

    Understanding of project financials and KPIs
