Pfizer's Global Financial Solutions (GFS) Shared Services is a well-established operation with beginnings in Memphis, Tenn.

in 1997. The organization expanded to Europe in 2003, Asia in 2007, Latin America in 2013, and Eastern Europe in 2014. GFS Shared Services has a workforce of more than 900 Pfizer colleagues, in addition to a successful partnership with a Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) partner, Genpact, in three locations globally.

The GFS Shared Services center located in Costa Rica will support all Latin America MAPP transactions (My Anti-Corruption Policies and Procedures) associated to FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act).

The Analyst position is responsible for managing all activities related to accesses, updates, maintenance and edits to the MAPP Navigator system.

Also, the role will be responsible for managing activities related to the HCP database. This role will be responsible to ensure that all transactions can be performed through the systems / tools created for this purpose.

The role will be responsible for preventing problems in the systems and improve systems performance by reporting and handling any issue until it is solved in the system.

This position will be based in Costa Rica. The role will report to the MAPP Transactional Service Center Lead in Costa Rica.

This position will be responsible for the collection of all documentation (if applicable), ensuring all compliance checks are completed in order to perform his / her responsibilities, and submitting any approvals as necessary.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provision (add / modify / remove) user roles for approved requests (after system and policy training)
  • Manage thresholds governing the system controls, including policy thresholds and SLAs
  • Resolve functional workflows issues
  • Resolve process, policy and business related inquiries
  • Support audit and reporting needs, including generating new monthly reports and ad hoc reporting
  • Serve as the MAPP Navigator subject matter expert for the MAPP Transaction Service Center
  • Act as a point of contact for MAPP Navigator related issues
  • Review and monitor the different reports generated by MAPP Navigator
  • Manage MAPP specific fields for MDM / Reltio (HCP Database)
  • Deliver the quarterly reports to SMEs in the countries to review determinations
  • Responsible for working with Reltio / MDM to update the HCP data and manage system updates / enhancements
  • Oversee the Help Desk and ticket resolution management
  • Ensure all information is properly documented related to accesses, updates, maintenance and any changes in MAPP tools
  • Ensure MAPP Navigator Systems is in compliance with MAPP policy
  • Test and document any changes to the MAPP Tools
  • Direct interactions with business colleagues, healthcare professionals and external organizations (as needed)
  • Responsible for communicating with internal and external business professionals (as needed)

  • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent is required
  • 1-3 years of experience with accounting or compliance transactions, preferably in a shared service with strong compliance controls
  • Experience with FCPA transactions preferred
  • Management of multiple client stakeholders
  • Previous experience with pharmaceutical companies is preferred
  • TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, Powerpoint) required
  • SAP / Oracle experience preferred
  • Good organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient written and verbal skills to enable effective communication with all levels of management
  • Ability to analytically review and challenge statutory financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, adherence to accounting standards, etc.
  • Strong technical skills in managing transactions within a global system
  • PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • Position is based in Costa Rica GFS office. Travel would be for work-related needs only. Weekend work could be necessary based on volumes.
