This position is responsible for different analysis such as : production, costing, labor hours, overhead, absorption analysis and other data needed to provide an appropriate level of costing information.
Responsibilities include monitoring the expenditures of the company, inventory control, reviewing manufacturing variances;
calculate the COGS (Cost of Goods Sold) and Net Sales per period. This cost accountant position will generate weekly reports on the COGS status and the projections for the rest of the month as well as reports of CONQ (Cost of Non Quality) and Operational Productivity in order to maintain and adequate control of the resources and meeting our company targets.
Also will be required leadership to create and find cost savings projects.
REQUIREMENTS : EDUCATION :
Technical Degree on Accounting from Colegios Técnicos Profesionales
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance related field.
Adequate combination of educational background and / or experience in Medical Companies to effectively perform self-training.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE :
Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar positions.
Accounting experience in a large multi-national organization and Free Zone regulations.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel including lookup, sumif and pivot tables.
Computer skills on Microsoft Office with desirable understanding of ERP Accounting System (SAP knowledge a plus).
Experience in similar positions.
Ability to work with multi-functional teams.
Strong understanding of intermediate accounting concepts and analytical skills.
SOX knowledge desirable.
Desirable demonstrated knowledge and understanding of GMPs, FDA regulations, Quality System Regulations (QSR), ISO 13485 requirements and Japan regulations.
