As the to the General Manager you will be based in San José, Costa Rica. You will be working at Roche Services Americas, which is part of the Global Shared Services network, providing Informatics, Finance and Procurement services to the Americas Region.
In this role you will be reporting to General Manager but will also work in close collaboration with the Site Services Manager.
You will perform advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative support for the GM and his direct leadership team.
You will require a broad and comprehensive experience, skill, and knowledge of organization policies and practices, and working independently on assignments.
Considerable discretion and independent judgement will be expected.
Your main task will include :
Leads or participates in project initiatives and acts as subject matter expert to other assistants.
Duties are varied and complex often involving research, analysis and solution development.
Provides direction on issues of area of expertise and assist leadership in setting strategic direction activities.
Typically a higher level professional position requiring regular use of originality and ingenuity.
Key contact site contact for Global engagements and communications.
Schedules appointments, meetings, travel itineraries and coordinates related arrangements.
Prepares and manages GM expense reports through settling, managing GM agenda and resolves scheduling conflicts.
Prepares and analyzes complex trends, reports, and presentations drawing data from a variety of sources
Coordinates major site events and all pertinent planning arrangements and negotiations.
As the ideal candidate for this role, you have an Administrative Assistant or Secretarial degree and possess 5+ years of experience providing support to one or more senior leaders.
Your further qualifications are :
Strong ability to plan, prioritize and organize work effectively, adhere to tight and established deadlines.
Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and employment of advanced reasoning skills.
Support the process improvement and best practice implementations.
Support the departments operational topics in collaboration with management and peers.
Good numeric and analytical skills.
Good time management (high sense of urgency).
Advanced computer and presentation preparation skills are essential.
Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
Requires ability to work with highly confidential information.
Full English & Spanish fluency required and a must for this position.
