The SE Operational Readiness Compliance is responsible for implementing the established Operational Readiness Compliance (ORC) methodologies and processes in support of the Operational Readiness Compliance function.
The position is part of the Business Efficiency Management and Compliance organization. The primary role of this position will be to facilitate ORC procedures and maintain compliancy in an effort to ensure Syniverse products go to production operationally ready.
This will be done by conducting project reviews, identifying risks, documenting results, and communicating the findings to management.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Analyze projects from an operational perspective for determining and assessing risk areas of concern.
Gather evidence based on the ORC processes and store in document repository.
Complete the ORC checklist for projects identified for operational readiness.
Log and track project issues.
Coordinate and facilitate meetings with ORC project teams.
Communicate project status, as well as, other activities to project teams and management.
Create and maintain documentation for ORC processes, checklists, and risk assessments in document repository.
Create and deliver project status via written and verbal communications.
Create summary reports based on risk assessments.
Actively participate in project team meetings.
Work closely with project management to facilitate the ORC process for both the ORC team and the Project Management team.
Follow ORC processes and guidelines.
Adhere to the SDLC process.
Identify and implement ORC process improvements.
Provide input and support to team leads as may be necessary for preparing dashboards, metrics, and other reporting.
Job Requirements :
BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related work experience in an operational, support, or project management environment.
5+ years experience working in compliance, operations, product support, testing, and / or project management.
Working knowledge of Syniverse products and services and / or cellular industry knowledge preferred.
Understanding of the SDLC process in an IT environment.
Ability to analyze technical documentation.
Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data for assessing project risk.
Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to be assertive.
Good control and follow up skills.
Ability to organize, schedule, and facilitate meetings for project teams.
Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.

Understanding of the Agile process.
