Emerson Automation Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Advanced Components Group. This group specializes in the development of components that comprise the Syncade Manufacturing Execution System and facilitate systems integration.
This team participates in each stage of the product lifecycle, which includes conception, design, planning, development, testing, release and product support.
Components include, but are not limited to, behaviors, web parts, tools, interfaces, and event scripts.
This position involves fundamental product analysis, component design, source code development, and project driven development.
The Software Engineer will work with both standardized and customized components in this role.
The Software Engineer should be self-motivated and able to learn autonomously. He or she must be capable of working independently or within a group, and possess good written and verbal communication skills.
Beyond writing new applications, the Software Engineer must be willing to delve into existing code. In this position, the Software Engineer will work with internal personnel and customers, which may include travel to various sites. Responsibilities
