Job Description

Come join the Office Productivity Software team in IT to help drive collaboration solutions for all Intel employees. Our team is responsible for a number of tools that help Intel employees create and collaborate on business content.

We believe that our job is to make Intel more productive and provide the tools to enable that goal.

As a support analyst in this team, you will be responsible for : Building expertise in the tools we provide to Intel employees, Writing knowledge articles for our products to help our Level 1 production support, providing data analysis on our tickets, coordinating with our Level 1 production support on process improvements, and helping to understand routing issues for support when they arise.

We are looking for a candidate for a temporary position who has not yet graduated and is working towards a relevant Bachelor's, Specialist's, or Technical degree from a relevant academic institute.

A Student employee can do specific work in the area of their future degree or work as a Generalist in a specific department.

The Studentship is limited in time with the intent to hire into an College Graduate / Technical Graduate position as appropriate

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues our users encounter

Manage the configuration and operation of server-based operating systems

Monitor the system daily and respond immediately to security or usability concerns

Respond to and resolve Help Desk tickets

Upgrade systems and processes as required

Administrate infrastructure, including load balance, databases, and other processes

Review logs

Install and test computer-related equipment

Execute initiatives and participate in daily stand-up meetings

Must have

  • The candidate must be an active STUDENT.
  • Candidate must be in a technically oriented field (Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar) and should be comfortable picking up new technologies quickly.
  • Advanced English proficiency
  • Candidate must have good communication skills, be a good team player, and should be self-motivated.
  • Candidate must have a very strong customer focused point of view.
  • Ability to respond to help desk requests
  • Preferred :

  • Experience with Microsoft Servers, Windows 10, iOS, MacOS, and Office 365, but training will be provided.
  • 1+ years' prior admin experience preferred, but not required
  • Nice to have Skills :

  • Experience in any level of technical support, data analysis (via Excel or similar tools) and derived a set of conclusions from that data, and / or collaboration tools.
