Health Areas

  • Assist in planning and coordinating health campaigns for employees.
  • Make sure all employees arrive to the medical clinic by assuring the shuttle is providing good service, verify this is done accordingly and make changes if necessary.
  • Ergonomic assessments, evaluations, coordinate with other departments the necessary adjustments of each workstation. Support selecting and advising when ergonomic needs arise, handle this equipment’s inventory, replacements, repairs, etc.
  • Assist in the supervision of the Company's Health Service. Meetings, assure medicine inventory is accurate, complaint management, evaluation of the service and develop improvement plans for appointments, patient’s attention, etc.
  • Assure biohazard waste disposal.

  • Incident related : assist to prepare job description analysis for INS when an employee is injured, for accidents or illness.
  • Follow up on this. Assist in preparing INS indicators of incidents, accidents.

  • Work alongside with the occupational health regent to assess EHS related issues, analyze and qualify drills, etc.
  • Participate in Align’s Comision de Salud Ocupasional, meet in a monthly basis to review EHS related issues.
  • Management of Resources

  • Coordinate the Emergency Response Team (ERT). Assist in all related to the ERT, recruit, train, evaluate, ensure the ERT is prepared for emergencies and drills.
  • Coordination and logistics of the response teams in evacuation drills or actual emergencies through monitoring of the evacuation plan.
  • Develop evacuation plans and drills for new facilities, train and assure all these are known and followed by all employees.
  • Constantly provide timely and creative solutions to support key projects that drive efficiency and employee’s health.
  • Develop vendor’s protocol for performing jobs in site regarding safety practices. Make sure this is followed, updated and applied in all Align sites.
  • Supervise these activities.

  • Support vendor access to sites.
  • Work Environment

  • Active participation in the design and implementation of development programs for employees to improve and maintain operational capacity, including the integration of workers.
  • Implementation of environmental health and safety initiatives to promote the welfare of employees.
  • Make sure all safety policies and procedures exist, employees trained, make updates, prepare reports, etc. Assure a safety environment. Signage.
  • Perform a monthly review of fire extinguishers, brigade equipment and possible risks within the facility.
  • Check daily compliance of performing stretching routines.
  • FM Global audits, host, assure evidence is provided, all in compliance.
  • Assess, supervise and support from an EHS perspective all projects. Make sure safety related issues are accomplished and in accordance to regulations.
  • Additional Responsibilities

  • Handle EHS on boarding session.
  • Ensure full compliance with the objectives and goals assigned to the group.
  • Create EHS PRs and other Facilities’ ones.
  • Coordinate recycling vendor’s activities, waste management. Plan, coordinate environmental campaigns.

    Preferably completed technical education in Occupational Health.


    1-2 years of experience in similar roles.

    Certificate of courses in Occupational Health or related preferably.


  • Intermediate level of English.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, operations and instructions, directions or manual procedures in English.

  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Ability to have interpersonal relationships.
  • Ability to monitor, investigate and provide proposals for the solution of occupational hazards.
  • Leadership; ability to solve problems and communicate different situations; ability to work on multiple projects.
  • Ability to write daily reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with the leader, supervisor and other partners.
  • Customer service oriented.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Sense of urgency.
  • Ability to work different shifts
  • SAP (desired)

  • Desired knowledge of NFPA, safety norms.

    While job functions are performed, it is required to be standing regularly and using their hands.

    Often it would be expects from him / her to speak and listen.

    It would be needed to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms different objects.

    Ability to work in a moderately noisy environment.

    Vision requirements include : Near vision, color, ability to adjust, focus and perception.
