Developing roles and responsibilities for a key terminal for APM Terminals in the region.
Execute billing process for Marine Services & Load / Discharge activities (Create the proforma, send it to the Vessel & Container Operators, verify the pre-
payment, reconcile the Terminal Departure Report, process the final invoice).
Ensure accuracy of invoicing, finalized invoices are reviewed as a detective billing control daily.
Ensures that invoices issued are correct; corrections and credit notes must be kept to an absolute minimum.
Ensure billing services provided at both the depot as paid services to the port : regular and complementary.
Control billing information extracted from N4 Billing into IFS daily by reconciling the inputs available in both systems.
Ensure that electronic invoices were sent to the customer (PDF + HTML)
In charge of safeguarding of billing documentation (portals + Term View)
Performs a continue review of data, rates and sales percentages.
Collaborate with finance and commercial department to maintain accounts receivable healthy.
Identify the loops if any to streamline the process.
Make sure that these controls are in place : Reconciliation of billing and accounting systems, Bill it all, Other billing controls, Credit notes
Perform other duties as assigned.

Be a responsible individual for Terminal safety.
Ensure compliance to APM Terminals’ safety standards and policies in cooperation with our on-site HSSE colleagues.
We are looking for
College Degree in Finance, Administration, Accounting, Industrial Engineering or related field.
5 years of working experience in the role at similar level, or equivalent.
Understanding of relevant laws and best practices.
Confidentiality and trustworthiness.
Customer service orientation and negotiation skills.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requires ability to communicate in both English and Spanish.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision making skills.
