The Manager is responsible for providing all aspects of supervision to individuals supporting a functional area within Global Data Management Services (GDMS).
Interacts effectively with project teams and business partners, and serves as first line escalation path. Provides career development opportunities and manages performance.
Participates in functional area process and project initiatives. Responsibilities may include supervision of staff and interaction with individuals across multiple MSD sites under the guidance and direction of the Associate Director / Director, in compliance with MSD Policies and Procedures, GDMS Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) and ICH-
GCP guidelines and within the department budget. Ensures effective interaction of GDMS staff with business partners to achieve business objectives.
Primary activities include, but are not limited to :
Ensures direct reports receive appropriate training and mentoring to be successful in their assignments.

Education : 1.At least B.A. or B.S. degree in relevant discipline (pharmacy, physician, veterinary, nurse, or healthcare related)2.
Fluent in written and conversational English Knowledge and skills : 1.Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in Clinical Data Management or Pharmacovigilance as appropriate to business role or related industry, supervisory or management experience is preferred.
2.An overall working knowledge of the drug discovery or Drug Surveillance process, ICH and GCP guidelines.3.Strong communication skills (oral and written) with the ability to communicate with both the technical and business areas.
4.Demonstrated project management, decision making and problem-solving skills. 5.Ability to establish effective professional relationships across a wide range of business contacts.
6.Ability to build talent and lead team with influencing skill and development skill.7.Ability to work under pressure in a changing environment with flexibility.
