Lead the Costa Rica manufacturing operations in order to deliver exceptional quality, delivery and financial performance and sustained production execution.
Champion HPS (lean manufacturing & Six Sigma) and implement a continuous improvement culture.
Responsible for overall achievement of the site's P&L as approved in the budgeting process of the division.
Responsible for continually improving the customer experience through partnering the leaders across functional lines, developing a customer centric mindset within operations and implementing CX initiatives.
Guide and direct management team in execution of HMC initiatives, strategy deployment, and operational organization.
Evaluate the results of overall operations regularly and systematically report results.
Direct the preparation of short-term and long-term plans and budgets and capital plans in accordance with the division and business requirements.
Responsible to ensure site personnel policies and practices are effective and within the principles of the Heraeus guidelines as well as state and federal laws.
Communicate effectively with the business unit managers, board members and other HMC general managers to ensure optimal information flow.
Represent the site in all customer interactions-customer visits and resolution of escalated customer issues.
Practice objective performance management providing realistic goals and ongoing feedback, career development and succession planning.
What is required for this role :
Advanced degree in business or related field required.
10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a senior managerial role in a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated consistent growth in leadership roles ideally in a global organization within a subsidiary or plant.
Experience within a multi-product, job shop, fast paced, technical manufacturing environment required.
Solid understanding within FDA regulated environment a plus
Thorough demonstrated understanding within ISO13485 certified organization required.
Fluent in Spanish highly preferred as well as above average reading, writing and oral English skills.
Demonstrated ability to promote continuous improvement.
Ability to anticipate and practice participative management style.
Ability to think with a customer perspective : understanding the best methods to drive a distinctive customer experience.
Demonstrate high level of initiative and creativity.
