The principal responsibilities are :
Web based research from subscription and open sources, identifying risk issues on travel destinations and development of guidance in appropriate formats including PowerPoint presentations, emails & data entry into back end databases for inclusion in mobile apps
Interviewing of vendors to confirm their suitability to support the Firm
Use of surveys to establish the suitability of hotels and car providers
Interviewing of colleagues with experience of locations to glean insights on how best to keep colleagues safe in that location
Interview study team members during, after engagements to get feedback, insight on safety measures
Monitoring of daily travel reports, sending advisory emails and maintaining approval tracking mechanisms for travelers to high risk, remote & sanctioned locations
Supporting the Firm's response to incidents - Identifying staff in locations impacted by incidents
Contacting colleagues and confirming their status
Monitoring news / sources / web-pages for developing issues
Providing updates to management and posting updates on to web pages
Perfil del candidato
Desire and inclination to work in safety and security field. Previous experience, exposure to safety and security field are a big plus.
Good command of English, Spanish language, additional language skills (especially Portuguese) are advantageous. Willingness to work flexible hours when incidents are in progress.
Basic interview skills & experience. Very strong written and verbal communication skills : strong drafting skills, good self-
editing. Good service attitude and high level of professionalism. Good problem solving skills. Strong team player. Ability to drive own research projects forward.
Technical skills and experience. Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills. Basic web editing knowledge preferred. Role will involve the use of web based tools.
